Does the version for the BLM require any modifications?? Can e-mail or PM me best price aaaa?? Been waiting damn long for something like this..... ;D It needs trimming, but we'll make it ready to use before it goes into your car, at no extra charges. As for the discount, expect somewhere around 10% of the posted price but I will only make the real offer when I see your beloved car infront of my shop... LOL!

Aiseyman... dun like all this trimming thing la.... I tot by now got BLM-size filter. Ppl say Simota got but cannot find it anywhere... = = Tell you what... even if we order the BLM size from the supplier, it comes trimmed like what we'll be doing, and we need to pay extra for the job. In addition to that, no one will bother to make new mould just for that 5mm difference. Have you seem how it's done? We are not just sellers, we provide solutions. If you think this is not what you want, we are okay with it. But I don't see a reason to dislike it, as it fits just perfectly into your airbox. After all, it sells well.

The urban myth of AT not suitable for "open pod" is caused by the generic intake system that's easily available in the market. Most manufacturers did no research but making something that look good. However, tuners customize their system throuhg trial and error, and actualy on-the-road and dyno tests.
I did heat shielded cone filter system with CAI on AT and the improvement is comparable to the same system I did on MT. The length and size of the piping, heatshielding and cold air intake play more important role than the type of filter.
However, in most of the cases, the improvement you get doesn't justify the amount you spend on such "open pod" system. Therefore, we've stopped doing "open pod" system, but recommending a simple drop-in panel filter instead.
What I mean is, RM600 for 5% gain (open pod + heatshield + CAI) is not as cost effective as RM200 for 3% (simple drop-in such as these I am selling). Do you get me?
Okay, consultant fee is "teh see beng" on you next time you visit me. LOL!
