drex~ what if the o2 sensor put at the 4 2 1 after the flexible pipe there? wat will happen?? No one put the sensor after the flexible joint. IF a sensor is to be relocated, it will be before the joint. Reason for sensor relocatiion, theoretically, is to read an average a/f of all the cylinders, thus, theoretically, provide better metering of the actual A/F. However, having the sensor fast away from the cylinder head also means it takes more time to get warmed up, to read accurately. In addition to that, the sensor only produce 0 - 1V of voltage. Extending the wires means the resistance in the extended wire may cause inaccurate signaling to the ECU. There are pros and cons in relocating the sensor. There's no problem with the sensor reading only 2 or the cylinders. Afterall, it's the end result that matters, the dyno chart speaks for itself.

Anyone interested to know how we install the HotBits extractor onto your car? and why is this offer (free install) a good deal?
Before I go further, i would like to ask those who've changed to any after market extractor, what problem you (will) face when you want to undo the modification?
