-->I, myself had tried with this GPS system and the design together with its function is an improve for the previous Ideal GPS i used to own. The map is ever ready whenever you load into the software. For emergency cases, you will not need to waste time to receive satelite signals in order to load the map and you can directly access to the location u want it to direct you to. With the satelite signal, it will only just enlarge the details of the area more precise. The Operating system of this GPS is far smoother with less lags as it is improved from the previous unit.

hw abt the latest map update? is it from the China company's website? will it be reliable? any prob in future?

t&c we needa talk about it as everyone got different t&c.

1)latest map update is always ready whenever u get ur unit.
2)Ideal gps got their respective IdealTech website, updates and downloads for latest map are free there.
3)Ideal GPS is being sold more than u expected. Some local car clubs here already got their respective marshals one for each member.
4)future problem as in what?
